
G. Bernard Barry, Vice-Chairman
Mr. Barry is a certified
public accountant and has been engaged in public accounting for 37 years.
Mr. Barry graduated from Creighton University in 1962 and then served as an
officer in the United States Army for two years. He has been a resident of
the Town of Paradise Valley since 1971 and served on the Town Council from
1998 to 2002.
Joan Levinson
Joan Levinson is one of the
top realtors in Paradise Valley, with over two decades of experience
specializing in the homes and land of this area. She is a panelist for
the Arizona School of Real Estate's yearly seminar on the Luxury Real Estate
Market. Joan has worked extensively with the Town and its residents.
She has lived in Paradise Valley for 23 years and several of her clients
have already donated land to the Preserve.
Fred Pakis
Fred co-founded JDA Software, Inc. in 1985 and
served as President, Co-CEO and Co-Chairman of the Board for various periods
of time through 2000. He was previously employed as Retail Consulting
Manager with Touche Ross & Co. from 1981 to 1985 and as Director of
Corporate Planning for the Sherwin Williams Company from 1976 to 1981. He
currently serves on the Board of Directors of Vodavi Technologies and the
Hilco Private Equity Fund.
Fed attended the U.S. Military Academy at West
Point, received a BS degree in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve
University and his MBA from the London Business School where he was elected
a Sloan Fellow. He recently received his MA in International Relations from
the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
He is a Trustee of the
Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the Arizona Opera, Phoenix, Country Day School,
and sits on the Regional Advisory Board of the London Business School.
Phil Schneider
Phil Schneider has lived
most of his life on the slopes of Mummy Mountain. A graduate of Stanford
and the University of Arizona College of Law, Phil practiced with the law
firm of Fennemore Craig for 20 years and presently is the vice chairman of
The Lyle Anderson Company. Volunteer work has included work for the Town
and 18 years service on the Board of Scottsdale Healthcare.
Colin Williams,
Chairman
Colin Williams, with his
family, own and operate the Smoke Tree Resort. Mr. Williams graduated from
Arizona State University in 1995. From 1995 until 1999 Mr. Williams was
employed by the Rural/Metro Fire Department as a Public Information Officer,
dedicating much of his time to public education. He is a native of the Town
of Paradise Valley and has worked to promote tourism as well as fire and
life safety programs within the town.
